Calling thold from inside a plugin

For my new plugin I need to be able to create a threshold, based on one the user selected on the setting page (of my plugin).
Anyone have an Idea how I can call it and which function I can call ?
I saw the autocreate, but it's apply on every object for which a template exist, and i'd like to create only for some selected object.

I'd like to avoid to duplicate the 'thold_graphs_action_execute' that exist into the thold setup file.
