Not completely happy with how this came out but it is what it is. I’ll probably go in later and fix the doodling

Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
This was so much fun! I haven't used my stencils and texture paste in so long... so it is not the greatest. I used a stencil, translusant texture paste so I sprinkled a little glitter on top and I did spray the page but I don't have white or anything that will really show but it gave it a little sparkle.

White or metallic if that's ok as well. Gold would work well with what I'm doing. It's just a question of if I have a gold pen that wants to actually work. lol!
Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
Since the challenge says black, I'm going to say no gold. Stick to either white or gray, metallic would be ok if its a metallic gray and it's all you own.

Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
Mixed media path. I used silver stencil butter on the corners and sprayed Imagination Crafts fashion spray on part of the page.

Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
This should have been easy and simple but because it's me it was hard. I did just a simple backstitch because the paper is already quite busy.

Sounds good. Thanks for the clarification!
Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
Here's mine which is hard to see. I chose mixed media. I used texture paste with some distress spray stain added for color and then a Tim Holtz stencil. I did two of the corners. I also used the spray stain for some splatters.
Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
I went with the Mixed Media option.

Step 2 - Stitching (used my sewing machine with black thread to create stitched border around edges of background PP)

Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
I'm on the stamping/doodling path. But after seeing some of the others - can I use mulitple colors (other than black) in the corner or does it have to be a single color?
Re: Progressive Challenge Step 2
the wording says "a different color" which implies one. However, if you already did with multiple colors, I don't want you to have to do it again so I will accept it.

Mixed Media - stencil with texture paste, colored and splattered with inks.
