UPDATE: DrSonja's Word Scramble with a Twist
I know word scrambles have been a hit for years. However, I must admit that I have succumbed to using computerized word unscramblers when I have been stumped or lazy. And, honestly, it feels like cheating. So, in hopes of eliminating that approach, I have added a twist to this scramble.
In the 10 words below, some of the letters have been substituted for other letters. If every letter had a substitute, it would be a full-blown code, but for this game, less than a handful of letters have been "coded".
For example, if T=Z, then eyelet would be eyelez and the scrambled word might look like: zeeley
All substitutions are consistent throughout the list. In other words, every T would be changed to Z in the puzzle list. So, that should make it a bit easier to crack the twist. (T=Z is just an example, the letters that have been coded in the list are NOT the T or Z--now, that IS a clue!)
The fabulous prize for this game is the Die Bundle which has been generously donated by Sizzix.
