So....let's turn over the first page, and we will have the paper side of polka dots.  (I LOVE polka dots :winkb:)

Because the pages are so small, I wanted to leave enough room for a photo....so I just added some thickers that spell fun.

remember....your album is YOURS.  pick any word you want!

 page 3 and 4

again, I used that smaller template, and cut out paper (brown polkas this time).  I again adhered to the backside....this time only becaue it was super easy to hide the glue dots in the small polka dots.

Image

(see the grout in my tile? how embarassing :?)

I then added those super cute flip flops and a section of the rubons on the end...again, leaving room for a picture/

A small commentary on rub on and acrylic albums....

Some rubons are colored (or black) on both sides, making them IDEAL for acrylic albums.  Since this collection JUST came out, I didn't have time before I ordered to find out.  These are actually white on the reverse side, so they don't look AMAZING from the other side, but they don't look BAD.  I prefer rubons that can be seen and enjoyed on both sides.  But, that is just me :winkb:

I like the idea of adhering the pp to the back side makes alot of sense.
Almost forgot the class I was working out what was I thinking?

sooo...now the fourth page (the reverse of the brown polka dots)

Image

Here i wanted to accentuate the awesome paper, so I just added three paper flowers, and the top of the icecream 3D sticker.  (Even though I pulled it apart, you can still use the bottom!  Isn't that cool?)  I then added some pearls, 'cause Kiley is a bling type of girl!

Glad I checked this out.  Have a couple of acrylic albums I want to start, so the template hint is just what I needed.

Do you know who makes rub-ons that are colored on both sides?

 next page:

If you know me and my kids....I make them write...a LOT.  I LOVED writing as a child, and my kids do, as well.  This album is so small, though, I needed to find a way to get more writing bang for my buck...so I came up with this....

ImageThe rubon sheet has the wavy words....I rubbed them on white Bazzill, then hand cut the strip.and adhered the acrylic (on each end only).  I then put bling in between each word.  I cut 4 tags with my cricut, chalked them, added ribbon, flowers and pearls, and tucked them under the strip.

well, Heidi Grace did :( but they are no longer in business.

The black ones tend to be black on both sides....but not always.  I would just check around....look in your stash and experiment!

OK....backside of the tag page...i just cut a strip of paper, and used my exacto to trim the edge.  I then picked that sticker that is a perfect fit for the shape of the album....added the word "friends" with my Making Memories tiny alphas (can we say obsession?? :winkb:)...a perfect page for a larger picture!
